SIT nab five, one from Ajit Singh Nagar main accused for attack on YS Jagan in Vijayawada

VIJAYAWADA: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took five persons into custody.

The police believe that one out of the five who belonged to the Vaddera colony of Ajit Singh Nagar in Vijayawada was the person who hurled the stone at the Chief Minister while he was standing on the top of the caravan during Memantha Siddham bus yatra.

The SIT identified the accused with the help of CC TV footage and other available video footage. The SIT was on the job of ascertaining the reasons for the attack on the CM.
