AMARAVATI: To avoid a clash with the ensuing elections in the State, the Andhra Pradesh Government has announced that the SSC and the Intermediate examinations will be held in March.

Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana announced the schedule at a press conference here on Thursday. According to the schedule, the SSC examination would be held from March 1 to 15 and the intermediate exams would also take place around the same time. The intermediate practical exams would be conducted from February 5 to 20. The examinations for intermediate students would be held from 9 am to 12 noon.

As per the SSC examination schedule, first language would be held on March 18, followed by first Language Paper-1 (Composite Course) on March 19, second language on March 20, English on March 21, Mathematics on March 22, Physical Science on March 23, Biological Science on March 26, and Social Studies on March 27.

First language paper-2 (Composite Course) and OSSC main language paper-1 (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian) would be held on March 28, and OSSC main language paper-2 (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian) and SSC vocational course (Theory) would be held on March 30.
