TENALI: TENALI: A stone was pelted at Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan while campaigning in Tenali on Vaarahi, his campaign vehicle. However, the stone fell far away from him without hitting him.

According to reports, the stone was allegedly thrown by a participant in the Varahi Yatra. Jana Sena party activists overpowered the miscreant who hurled the stone and handed him over to the police.

The incident which sparked tension occurred when Pawan Kalyan reportedly got down from his helicopter for his Varahi Yatra in Tenali. The reasons for the attack are still unknown.

The incident occurred a day after Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was injured during his campaign in Vijayawada when someone threw a stone at him. YS Jagan sustained an injury to his left eyebrow after being hit on Saturday. He was immediately given first aid by the doctors and was shifted to Vijaywada government doctors as advised by the doctors.
