TDP calls for statewide bandh on Monday, Pawan Kalyan lends support to Naidu
Atchannaidu said it was unfortunate that Naidu was targeted personally for fighting against the failures and corruption of Jagan Mohan Reddy's regime
VIJAYAWADA: After the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court sent TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu for 14 days judicial custody, Andhra Pradesh party president K Atchannaidu called for a State bandh on Monday, September 11,2023. Atchannaidu called the arrest of Chandrababu illegal.
In a press release on Sunday, Atchannaidu said it was unfortunate that Naidu, who had 40 years of political experience, was targeted personally for fighting against the failures and corruption of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's regime.
The TDP leader called upon the public to make the bandh successful in the interest of democracy.
Meanwhile, Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan declared that his support for Chandrababu Naidu would remain forever.
"Chandrababu Naidu extended his support when I was restricted from travelling in Visakhapatnam and it is my responsibility now to extend support when he needs it. The YSRCP leaders are the reason for law and order issues as they campaigned that I was coming to visit Chandrababu Naidu yesterday," said Pawan Kalyan.
He criticised that Jagan had spent two years in jail but was still the richest Chief Minister. He alleged that the YSRCP was attempting to picture everyone as a criminal.
