AMARAVATI: AP Government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is weak and can go to any extent to form an alliance with the BJP which he cursed and cursed many a time.

Speaking to media here on Thursday he said that Naidu declared that the Congress doesn’t have any presence in AP. “He should also have admitted that TDP is on a ventilator. Chandrababu is ready to ally with the same BJP that he has cursed time and again in the past. It’s both shocking and appalling,” he added.

Sajjala pointed out that the YSRCP doesn't rely too much on surveys and polls. “We have been successful in turning surveys upside down in the past too… and we are sure to repeat history once again. Surveys like these cannot dent our confidence. We are 100 percent sure we will win again, he said answering a question on the C voter survey.

He said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went to Delhi to secure additional and pending funds for the State and if possible meet other union ministers too.

“On the other hand, Naidu went to Delhi to seek alliance with the BJP,” he observed. Certain ‘yellow media’ was projecting as if BJP was after TDP for an alliance, but it was the other way around, Sajjala said.

Terming YS Sharmila as a mouthpiece of Chandrababu Nadu, the YSRCP senior leader said that she was reading a script penned by Naidu. “We did not count the presence of the Congress in the arena. Congress was behind the incarceration of our leader for 16 months,” he said.
