Those reading TDP’s script can’t be YSR’s successors, says YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, files nomination in Pulivendula
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that those who become puppets in the hands of Telugu Desam can’t be successors of YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
PULIVENDULA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that those who become puppets in the hands of Telugu Desam can’t be successors of YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
“Real successors of YSR’s legacy are fearless, truthful, and pathbreakers,” YS Jagan said addressing a public meeting here at the CSI Grounds on Thursday before filing nominations for the Pulivendula Assembly seat.
He said that YSR scripted the success story of Pulivendula which once faced very harsh conditions. “Now we have Krishna water touching upon our shore. The land of Pulivendula faced the onslaught of TDP mafia for over four decades,” he said.
YS Jagan said that the region and its people were branded as ‘Kadapa culture’ by certain people and people like Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Purandheswari spread fake narratives against YSR and Jagan.
“Those who wear yellow sarees and read TDP’s script could never claim YSR’s legacy. Who targeted the YSR family? Who added YSR’s name to the CBI charge sheet? Only people will decide who are the true successors of YSR,” he said.
He said that he gave Kadapa MP ticket to Avinash Reddy as he believed that he was innocent. “Those who killed Vivekananda Reddy are roaming free. Is it not true that Vivekananda Reddy had another wife? Are the questions raised by Avinash Reddy valid?” YS Jagan said.
Reiterating that beneficiaries would be his star campaigners, he said that people must elect YSRCP again to continue the welfare schemes implemented by him. “If you elect the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance all the schemes would stop,” he said.
Later, YS Jagan reached the Pulivendula returning officer Venkatesh camp office and submitted his nominations. From Pulivendula CM would return to Tadepalli after a brief stay at his Bhakarapuram residence in Pulivendula.
