TTD launches new mobile app with upgraded features for devotees

TIRUMALA: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman YV Subba Reddy on Friday launched the TTD mobile app at an event held at the Annamayya building in Tirumala. Speaking to the media on this occasion, the Chairman said that the new app was developed by upgrading the current Govinda mobile app and incorporating more features to make it more user-friendly for the devotees to book Tirumala darshan and accommodation tickets with ease.

The Chairman said that all the information related to Tirumala was available in the app, which would help them provide better services to the devotees. He said that the app had been developed by the IT department of the TTD in collaboration with Jio.

Explaining the features of the new mobile app, YV Subba Reddy said that the devotees could get the details of the festivities held at the Tirumala Temple through push notifications and could watch SVBC broadcasts through live streaming. He also said that the devotees could give suggestions through the app

On the other hand, TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy said that the app could be used as a digital gateway for all the needs of devotees. He said that the devotees needed to enter the user name and OTP to log in without any password. He said that the app was designed with less complexity and that people of all ages could use it with ease.

TTD JEO Veerabraham, CVSO Narasimha Kishore, JIO Platforms Limited President, Chief Operating Officer Mr. Anish Shah, IT Advisor Amar, IT GM Sandeep and the team that created the app participated in the event.
