Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy appointed TTD chairman

TIRUPATI: Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Saturday.

Bhumana Karunakar Reddy was a two-time MLA from Tirupati, who was elected in 2012 and 2019. This would be Karunakar Reddy's second time as the chairman of the TTD board.

He served as TTD chairman from 2006 to 2008 during the YS Rajasekhar Reddy regime. Current TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy's term would end on August 8, 2023. The Andhra Pradesh government would also issue an official GO in this regard.
