Tragedy in TTD EO Dharma Reddy's family, son dies at Chennai hospital

CHENNAI: Chandramouli Reddy, son of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) EO Dharma Reddy, died at Kauvery hospital in Chennai on Wednesday after suffering a massive heart attack on December 18. He suffered the stroke just one month before the wedding.

Kauvery Hospital, where he was admitted for treatment for the past three days, announced his death on Wednesday. In a statement, the Hospital also said that Chandramouli pledged to donate his eyes which the Hospital facilitated.

Chandramouli Reddy was to marry the daughter of TTD Chennai's Governing Council Member and industrialist AJ Sekhar Reddy on January 26 2023 at Shringeri Mutt in Tirumala. Chandramouli, while he was in Chennai giving his wedding invitations to relatives, suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday.

TTD EO Dharma Reddy and his wife on Wednesday, broke down after their son was declared dead.

Chandramouli's body would be taken to Kurnool, Dharma Reddy's home town, for cremation.
