TTD to do trial run pay link SMS for easy payment by lucky dip devotees

TIRUMALA: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a new online system for devotees to procure hard copies of ‘Arjita Sevas’ and break Darshan tickets.Arjita Sevas’ and break Darshan tickets.Arjita Sevas’ and break Darshan tickets.

Previously the Central Reservation Office (CRO) used to allot tickets to devotees after the lucky dip draw allowing the devotees to visit counters to make payments and receive tickets.

But as per the new improved system, the CRO would send the ‘pay link’ SMS to devotees who got the tickets in Lucky Dip. These devotees should click the link and make payment online by UPI, credit, debit cards or net banking. They could then get printouts of their ticket without going to the CRO.

The new system was experimentally operational at the lucky dip counter in the CRO. Soon the system would be implemented at the MBC-34 counter for the allotment of Arjita Sevas and VIP Break Darshan tickets also.
