HYDERABAD: An officer with the Seattle Police Department was overheard mocking the death of Indian Telugu student Jaahnavi Kandula, saying that her life had 'little value' and that the city should write a cheque for $11,000.

A video of an officer's conversation with other Seattle Police Department officers was discovered when a body-worn camera recording a dialogue was discovered during the investigation of Jahnvi's accident.
