Visakha Garjana: YSRCP, JAC leaders raise 3 capital spirit in Andhra Pradesh
YSRCP leaders reiterated their agenda behind the proposal to thousands of people
VISHAKHAPATNAM: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan and the entire 'yellow media' is against the development of Andhra Pradesh and they only intend to increase their bank balance, said YSR Congress party leaders and Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee members at the 'Vishakha Garjana' (Vizag roar) rally held in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.
As part of the 'Vishakha Garjana', around one lakh people marched from Ambedkar statue to LIC Building in Visakhapatnam in support of the tri-capital bill proposed by Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan-led YSR Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh intensifying the need of the executive capitals in North Andhra citizens.

They said that the idea behind making Visakhapatnam and Kurnool the executive capitals of Andhra Pradesh to develop all the 26 districts of the State and not just Amaravati. They said that the TDP and Jana Sena cadres were opposing the bill only to stop the distribution of and pocket the wealth of Andhra Pradesh. The YSRCP leaders and JAC members said that the tri-capital decision would benefit the coming generations of North Andhra by enabling them to be as developed as any other big city like Hyderabad.
They slammed Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan stating that they only had selfish motives behind opposing the three capital bill. They said that Jagan had developed the State at an extremely fast pace, something the Naidu couldn't do in 14 years.
The farmers of Amaravati, who were on a 60-day march opposing the tri-capital movement, were all paid actors and that everyone is the State, all taxpayers, were in support of the proposal, said YSRCP Leader and AP Minister for Tourism Roja Selvamani. She also said, "Chandrababu Naidu was aiming at increasing his real estate while Jagan is rooting for the development of Andhra State"
Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani said that the TDP and Jana Sena thought of Visakhapatnam only when it came to gaining votes and that when the YSRCP was speaking about its development, they were opposing it. He urged the people to boycott media channels, like TV5, Eenadu and ABVP, that were against the tri-capital movement.
Speaker Tammineni Sitaram said that the North Andhra region neglected and deprived of administrative development since decades and that it was time the people demanded for their rights. Instead of suffering from poverty, he urged the citizens to stand for the three-capitals.
Citizens who attended the rally said that they deserved an equal right for development and that making Visakhapatnam and Kurnool the executive capitals would only benefit the future generations and cause no harm to anyone.
