From the airport, the live organ was transported by a flight to Sri Padmavati Children's Heart Centre in Tirupati.

The live heart belonged to Janjuru Sanyasamma (48) pronounced brain dead after a fall from a two-wheeler while traveling with her husband Ananda Rao on January 16. She was undergoing treatment at Sheela Nagar KIMS Icon Hospital. As the husband, a BHEL employee, and the relatives lost hope of Sanyasamma’s recovery, the family members agreed to donate her organs.
