YS Jagan inaugurates AP's biggest bus terminal worth Rs 124.10cr in Pulivendula

KADAPA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated a slew of projects in his hometown of Pulivendula on Saturday. The projects included the state's biggest bus terminal which has been built with a huge investment.

The bus terminal, as implied by the Chief Minister, has state-of-the-art facilities and has established a "role model" for the state.

Addressing a huge gathering here on Saturday, Chief Minister Jagan said, 'Pulivendula bus terminal is a role model for all. In the last three-and-a-half years, a series of development happened in Pulivendula.' Informing further about the construction of a six-lane highway, the Chief Minister said, 'We are making efforts to expand a 6 lane highway from Vijayawada to Bengaluru with an investment of Rs 13,000 crore.'

The Chief Minister said that Pulivendula, which is brimming with modern amenities, will set an excellent example for all constituencies to follow. The Chief Minister stated that after seeing the renovated Pulivendula bus terminal, opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu, a vocal critic of his government, would be stunned.

Chief Minister Jagan personally inspected the bus terminal, RTC office, and passenger facilities during the event.

The Chief Minister Jagan said that in order to ensure additional job opportunities, he had also launched a number of developmental activities and initiatives for regional industrial growth.

He also inaugurated newly built Ahobilapuram high school, Kadiri road junction with an investment of Rs 1.4 crore, vegetable market with an investment of Rs 1.2 crore, YSR memorial park and Maitri layout with an investment of Rs 4.29 crore, Rayalapuram four lane bridge with Rs 8 crore, 70 lakh investment.

Another Rs 6.7 crore was spent to build a road from Pulivendula to Kadiri. Additionaly, Rs 22.40 crore was spent on development of YSR RTC bus terminal.

He expressed his gratitude to the Pulivendula people for their blessings. 'With the assurance given to me by the people of Pulivendula, I am confident we can win 175 seats in the next election,' he added.
