YS Jagan invites hospitality sector to invest in Andhra Pradesh

YS Jagan inaugurated the Hyatt Place hotel in Vijayawada on Friday, the first hotel in Andhra Pradesh which was completed under the tourism policy brought by the State Government

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that the State Government is taking all necessary measures to attract investments from the hospitality sector to Andhra Pradesh to get recognition in global tourism.

YS Jagan inaugurated the four-star hotel Hyatt Place in Vijayawada on Friday. The Hyatt Place was the first hotel in Andhra Pradesh which was completed under the tourism policy brought by the State Government to attract global investments.

"The State Government is implementing a flexible tourism policy for attracting renowned hotel brands to put Andhra Pradesh on the global tourism map. Incentives are being provided by the State Government for aspiring entrepreneurs and are also ready to extend all support to investors in the hospitality sector," YS Jagan said.

YS Jagan said that starting from Oberoi Group to the newly inaugurated Hyatt Place, many international brands should still come up in the State and in Vijayawada. The international hotel brands should also expand their facilities further to other parts of the State, he said.

Ministers RK Roja, Botcha Satyanarayana, Taneti Vanitha and Jogi Ramesh, Hyatt Place chairman R Veera Swamy and people’s representatives were also present.
