YS Viveka Murder Case: CBI changes stance on Google take-out information in final chargesheet
The CBI in its final chargesheet mentioned that the Google take-out information which was gathered earlier related to YS Viveka's murder was incorrect.
HYDERABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in its final charge-sheet mentioned that the Google take-out information which was gathered earlier from the mobile phone of one of the accused, Sunil Yadav, related to former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder was incorrect.
The recent charge sheet filed by the CBI was quite different from the earlier one submitted to the CBI Special Court. In its final charge sheet, the CBI even failed to produce any evidence against Accused no.6 Uday Kumar Reddy and Accused no. 7 YS Bhaskar Reddy related to YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case, who were arrested earlier based on the Google take-out. The CBI stated that it had failed to distinguish UTC Greenwich Time and Indian Standard Time (IST) during YS Vivekananda Reddy's murder.
The CBI also mentioned that it didn’t have any evidence against YS Bhaskar Reddy and there was only suspicion against the other accused. Moreover, there was no link between YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder and the Kadapa MP seat. The CBI also stated that allegations against some others, who were listed as accused, were also just suspicion, but there was no concrete evidence against them.
