HYDERABAD: In a significant development in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case, the CBI sleuths after arresting Uday Kumar Reddy, the key aide of YS Avinash Reddy, reached the latter's residence on Sunday morning in Pulivendula and detained the MP’s father YS Bhaskar Reddy and Avinash Reddy's PA Raghava Reddy.

The investigation agency which reached Pulivendula with 15 officials served the arrest memo to Bhaskar Reddy's wife.

Tension prevailed in Pulivendula after YS Avinash Reddy's followers reached his residence upon knowing the arrest of YS Bhaskar Reddy. The CBI is shifting YS Bhaskar Reddy to Hyderabad for further questioning.

The CBI has already questioned the Kadapa MP and his father on four occasions and the latest development became a sensation. The CBI has intensified the probe based on the crucial details retrieved from Uday Kumar Reddy's mobile phone.

Meanwhile, Uday Kumar Reddy, who was produced before a judge in Masab Tank in Hyderabad, was remanded for 14 days and shifted to Chanchalguda Jail. On the other hand, while the CBI filed a petition seeking custody of Uday Kumar to interrogate him, the latter moved the court for bail and the hearing on both petitions was posted to Monday.

Earlier, the CBI detained Udaya Kumar Reddy based on the details retrieved from Google TakeOut.
