HYDERABAD: Evangelist and founder president of Praja Shanti Party KA Paul has said that the CBI officials should first interrogate TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu and former minister Adinarayana Reddy to ascertain the facts in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case.
Reacting on the Telangana High Court granting anticipatory bail to YS Avinash Reddy, KA Paul on Tuesday lashed out at the TDP Chief for his conspiracies against YS Avinash Reddy and backing Sheik Dastagiri, ex-driver and one of the accused in the brutal murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy. He recalled that Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief MInister of Andhra Pradesh when YS Vivekananda Reddy was murdered and even barred the CBI from investigating any case within the state.
“The CBI officials should interrogate the TDP Chief to speed up the investigation,” KA Paul said while seeking to know why the second wife of Vivekananda Reddy was not questioned so far by the CBI in the case.
Defending YS Avinash Reddy, he said that the Kadapa MP, in his petition before the Telangana High Court, argued that he had nothing to do with his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder and that he was framed based on the statement given by Dastagiri. “YS Avinash Reddy was only seeking time from the CBI officials to appear before them citing his mother’s illness, the evangelist said.
