YSRCP Govt focusing more on foisting false cases on Naidu: Nara Bhuvaneswari

TIRUPATI: Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has taken a strong exception to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Government for focusing more on foisting false cases on Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh, than Andhra Pradesh’s development.

Bhuvaneswari participated in her maiden public meeting ‘Nijam Gelavali’ in Agarala village in Chandragiri constituency, Tirupati district on Wednesday. Addressing a public gathering, Bhuvaneswari said that be it Skill Development scam, Amarvati Inner Ring Road scam or AP Fibre Grid scam, the YSRCP Government lacked evidence against Naidu and filed false cases one after another in an attempt to harass him.

“I am here not to talk about politics and do politics. My intention is to reach out to the people in the State and explain to them about the ‘Nijam Gelavali’ protest which has been launched for their well being and to protect future generations,” Bhuvaneswari said,and added that her father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) gave a slogan ‘Prajale Devdullu’ and her husband Naidu took the initiative further.

Bhuvaneswari said that as many as 3,000 orphan children were being educated by the NTR Trust. Highlighting the dedication and commitment of Naidu towards the development of the State, she said, “The former Chief Minister always priortised and worked for people over his family. Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Hitech City are a testament to his hard work. Naidu worked tirelessly for the holistic development of Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation, by sleeping only 3-4 hours a day.”

Bhuvaneswari also said that the YSRCP Government thought that the TDP would be finished if they arrested Naidu. “But the truth is, people started coming on roads offering their support to the former Chief Minister which proves that he still has support from all sections. The YSRCP Government’s agenda is to create hurdles for Lokesh’s ‘Yuvagalam’ padayatra and foist false cases against the TDP sympathisers for questioning them, apart from developing the State,”she said.
