Charged with the electrifying energy reverberated by the sea of supporters gathered at the Siddham Sabha at Kurnool, YS Jagan launched a blistering attack on the opposition and appealed to people to teach the ‘selfish alliance’ a befitting lesson in the ensuing elections.

In a fierce rebuttal to TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, who disrespected YSRCP Singanamala candidate Veeranjaneyulu for being a poor truck driver, YS Jagan blasted him and send out a clear message that YSRCP will continue to put the poor people in the position of power, because this is how, poor gets uplifted.

Slamming Naidu, for his anti-poor comments, YS Jagan remarked, “Chandrababu who disrespected Veeranjaneyulu for being a truck driver, should know that Veeranjaneyulu is better educated than him and holds a postgraduate degree in MA Economics, along with a BEd degree. It is because of Naidu’s poor governance, that Veeranjaneyulu couldn’t find a better job and had to work as a lorry driver. Under his government, Veeranjaneyulu became a truck driver and eked out a living for himself due to a lack of job opportunities.”

Berating Naidu further, the Chief Minister said, “Chandrababu tomorrow might go to Madakasira and he will hurl abuses at Eera Lakappa, an MGNREGA laborer, who has been selected as an MLA candidate. I want to tell Chandrababu Naidu that despite his opposition, YSRCP will continue to give MLA tickets to the people from poor backgrounds to ensure their political upliftment in the state.”

Contrastingly, Jagan further apprised people that “Under the YSRCP Government, they have provided 2.31 lakh government jobs in the last 58 months, which is the highest number of jobs provided by any government. He further stated that in the last 77 years of history, previous governments have only been able to give 4 lakh govt jobs in Andhra Pradesh.

Further stating that the opposition parties rely on gimmicks and betrayal, YS Jagan highlighted how the then-TDP government cheated on people by making over 650 promises in 2014 but didn't even fulfill a single promise. He said, “The opportunistic TDP has now once again ganged up with JSP-BJP and they all are coming again to deceive people of the state with their so-called ‘Super Six & Super Seven’ promises. I appeal to the people of the state not to fall prey to Naidu’s misleading agenda.

“I urge all of you to cut the tail of Naidu and his alliance. Remember to give a befitting response to JSP & BJP, who opposed English medium education to the underprivileged children and filed cases to prevent the government from giving house sites to the poor in Amaravati, and supported Chandrababu when he humiliated BCs by stating that he would cut their tails and opposed four per cent reservations to minorities,” Jagan added.

Iterating that he believes in the welfare and development being rendered to the poor, he informed that the “YSRCP Government to date has provided Rs 67,500 to all eligible farmers under Rythu Bharosa, 9 hours of free quality power supply, Free crop insurance, and established RBKs in every village. Whereas, Chandrababu Naidu’s government deceived the farming community by promising them to waive off Rs 87,612 crore farm loans but never did anything.”

“The YSRCP government enacted legislation to give 50 per cent of nominated posts and contracts to BC, SC, ST and Minority communities,” he added.

Making a genuine appeal to all the women supporters present at the meeting sabha, YS Jagan stated, “I urge my sisters to tie the Rakhi to the YSRCP government and your brother Jagan to protect the YSRCP government and your Jagananna for standing by the welfare of the women in the state. I urge the 45 lakh elderly and widow beneficiaries of the social security pensions scheme to tie Rakhi to the YSRCP government.”

He also asked, “all-star campaigners to visit every household and explain the welfare and development done by the YSRCP government in the last 58 months.” “Every star campaigner should make another 100 star campaigners to campaign for the YSRCP Government,” he added.
