AP: Applications for foreign education scholarships open
Government of Andhra Pradesh will be implementing the 'Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme' for providing financial assistance
AMARAVATI: The Government of Andhra Pradesh will be implementing the 'Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme' for providing financial assistance to students belong to SC/ST/BC/Minority/ EBC Including Kapu students to pursue PG/Ph.D/MBBS courses in top 200 universities across the world, as per latest QS world ranking universities.
In this scheme, students having 60 percent marks or equivalent grade in qualifying courses would be eligible to apply. Intermediate students aspiring to join the MBBS course, should be qualified in the NEET examination.
The AP Government would be providing 100 percent financial assistance of 100 percent tuition fee to those who get admission in top 100 universities and 50 percent tuition fee or Rs 50 lakh, whichever is less, to those who get admission from 101 to 200 ranking universities. Further, one way economy airfare and visa fee would be paid upon production of valid receipts.
Eligibility criteria:
The applicant's family income shall not exceed Rs.8 lakh per annum and maximum age shall not exceed 35 years as on date of publication of notification.

Last date for receipt applications shall be 30 September, 2022.
