Delhi liquor scam: ED raids at YSRCP MP's office in Nellore

NELLORE: Teams of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have been conducting searches at the office of YSRCP MP from Nellore Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy here since Friday morning.

The raids were part of a nationwide crackdown by the Central agency in connection with its probe into the Delhi liquor scam case. Close to 40 locations across the country have been raided simultaneously since morning. The residences and premises of a few of the accused in the case were also searched in Hyderabad.

In Nellore, the officials of the ED were sifting through all the documents at Srinivasulu Reddy's office, located on the Patel Road near the Gandhi Statue Centre. The staff of the MP's office were also reportedly being questioned to elicit more information. Because of the raids, the ED authorities restricted the movement of housemates outside and the entry of outsiders into the building.
