Jagan stops convoy to help man

TIRUPATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who was on a visit to Tirupati district on Thursday, stopped his convoy upon noticing a man with bandage and his wife on the road, who shouted and showed the files in their hands. Jagan immediately had his convoy stopped and asked one of the security officers to get the files.

The man, identified as Mahesh, a resident of Srikalahasti, told the media that he had to spend Rs 20 lakhs after breaking his knee and arm in a road accident on March 14, 2019. He said that he could not afford medical treatment and sold his property. He said that the files were an application for the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. He expressed happiness over the Chief Minister's gesture.
