Addressing the gathering, Jagan thanked the party members for standing by him for the last 13 years.

Recalling his father's death, Jagan said he was moved by the death of 700 people for YS Rajasekhar Reddy and said that as a responsible leader and son he had launched the 'Odarpu Yatra'.

Later, the chief minister took a dig at the Congress and the TDP and said that the parties together conspired against him. He said that he was proud of the journey of the YSRCP, which started with just one MLA and had now reached 151.

Jagan also commented on Chandrababu's infamous ring and said that it was not enough to have a chip in the ring and he should have a chip that understood people's problems. "The chip should be in the brain and heart," he quipped.

Jagan also said that Chandrababu had no respect or love for people and that his policy was to suppress the poor.
