JC Prabhakar Reddy, TDP men booked for protest at Tadipatri Police Station
J C Prabhakar Reddy held a sit-in protest claiming that the YSRCP activists were attacking TDP councillors
TADIPATRI: The Tadipatri police on Wednesday registered a case against former MLA and Municipal Chairman J C Prabhakar Reddy and over 120 of his followers for protesting in front of the town police station without obtaining permission.
J C Prabhakar Reddy, along with his followers, held a sit-in protest claiming that the YSRCP activists were attacking councillors belonging to the TDP. They alleged that the police were turning a blind eye to these attacks on their party leaders.
Raising slogans against the police and the YSRCP, they squatted in front of the Tadipatri Town Police Station. They finally relented after the police assured them of taking action over the alleged attacks. The police booked JC Prabhakar Reddy and others under several sections for staging the protest in violation of prohibitive orders and for causing interruption to vehicular traffic.
