NSG security cover for Chandrababu Naidu increased

KUPPAM: The Centre increased security for TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday owing to the clashes between the workers of YSR Congress Party and the TDP.

He was given Z Plus security with 12 + 12 commandos of the National Security Guard (NSG). He was previously given 6+6 commandos.

The Director General of NSG inspected Chandrababu's house and the TDP office after the clashes on Thursday and immediately ordered the increase of security.

At the Kuppam meet he said, "I have been an MLA from here for 33 years. We have built 650 houses in Kuppam Model Colony and made them ideal. If the Chief Minister cared for Kuppam he should have built at least 10,000 houses. Ring road work was also stopped by them. The prices of general commodities also went up. They impose unnecessary taxes. Such Government should be condemned. The TDP is working for the public. We will contest with strong candidates, not just Kuppam, we will win other constituencies like Pulivendula too." 

The TDP Chief was on his third day visit to Kuppam on Friday and would be visiting Krishna Bandapalli, Gundlanayanapalli and Kothuru.

The YSR Congress activists intercepted his tour and attacked TDP workers when the latter objected to the removal of party flags. The YSRC activists ransacked an Anna canteen that caused a commotion.
