Pawan Kalyan tours in Prakasam District

VIJAYAWADA: JanaSena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan was accorded a rousing welcome by the party activists and people en route his tour of the joint Prakasam District as part of the 'Tenant Farmers Assurance Yatra'.

The actor-turned politician, during his visit, said that he'd provide financial support to the affected farmer families of those who lost their lives due to the agrarian crisis since mid-2019 in the State.

People of Etukuru and Lalupuram in the outskirts of Guntur used crane-trucks to honour him with garlands. A grand flower-shower was also organised for the actor. His supporters went crazy and jostled trying to meet him.

Pawan has been taking every opportunity to campaign for the upcoming elections. He has been actively involved in dealing with issues concerning the public to strengthen the Jana Sena Party.

Frenzied crowds accompanies and ran in front of and also behind his carcade. Never had there been an occasion since 2009 whenever Pawan Kalyan took to streets, the response was lukewarm. Always the milling crowds in impressive numbers gathered, as if he's going to post a landslide victory.

The crowds were heard shouting "CM…CM…" even as he was waving his hands and greeting them with a namaste.
