Pilgrim rush: Tirumala Darshan is taking 30 hours

TIRUMALA : The number of pilgrims visiting Tirumala is significantly rising as a result of holidays and Third Peratasi Saturday this week. According to the reports, the pilgrim rush which was normal till October 4, picked up from the afternoon of October 5, 2022.
All sheds and compartments at Narayanagiri Gardens were occupied and huge queues had formed outside leading up to Sila Toranam Center by 10am on Thursday.
TTD officials claim that the Darshan process for pilgrims visiting Tirumala is taking close to 30 hours. They have therefore urged devotees to plan their trips to Tirupati accordingly and co-operate with TTD.
