Two months ago, the film had completed the censoring process and was all set for release. However, the release was halted after TDP leader Nara Lokesh filed a petition in the Telangana High Court seeking to stop its screening. This legal intervention resulted in a delay, with the court issuing interim orders to review the film's content and undergo censoring once again.
