Amala Paul is no new or strange star to the Telugu audience. After debuting with 'Bezawada', she went on to act in 'Love Failure', 'Nayak', 'Raghuvaran BTech, and much more. She always maintained a standard of doing a film with star heroes, whenever it is a Telugu film. Needless to say, she has gained a good following here too.
In a recent interaction with a media house, Amala Paul made some comments which have become much of controversial now. When she was asked about her career in Telugu films, she said Telugu film heroines are limited to only love scenes and dance numbers.
Amala Paul also said that family-oriented films are much supported & appreciated in Telugu cinema, which is why the main reason she couldn't be seen more here. Post her separation, Amala went on to make many bold and female-oriented films & web series. She has also made clear that it is her only preference.
On the work front, Amala Paul was last seen in Cadavar, which is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The film also marked her debut into film production. She will next be seen in the Malayalam films Teacher, Christopher, and Aadujeevitham.
