However, Suriya himself has stepped forward to clarify the truth behind these visits, setting the record straight on the matter.
Suriya and Jyothika, a cherished star couple in the Tamil film industry, embarked on their journey of togetherness in 2006 after years of courtship, with the blessings of their families. The couple shares two children, a daughter named Diya and a son named Dev.
As Suriya is deeply engrossed in the production of his 42nd film, directed by Siva, he found it essential to address the swirling rumors about his alleged stay in Mumbai. Suriya said candidly, “There have been rumors on social media that I have settled down in Mumbai. Let me clarify, that’s not the case. Both of our children are studying in Mumbai.”
The acclaimed actor elaborated on the reason behind his frequent visits to Mumbai. He emphasized that his primary purpose is to spend quality time with his children and ensure their well-being. Suriya made it clear that despite these visits, his base remains in Chennai. He underlined, “My focus is to be a good father to our children and manage my work commitments in Chennai.”
