HYDERABAD: Legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR)'s 100th birth anniversary celebrations took place in a grand manner in Hyderabad. Born on September 20, 1923, in Ramapuram, Krishna district, ANR holds a special place in the hearts of Telugu cinema lovers. He graced the silver screen for over seven decades, leaving an indelible mark on Indian cinema.
The centenary celebration took place at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, where a statue of ANR was unveiled. The event was graced by several prominent personalities, with former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu serving as the chief guest.
