HYDERABAD: Recently, the Nursing Association staged a protest against Nandamuri Balakrishna for his alleged objectionable statements against nurses. The controversy eventually made Balakrishna release a public statement regarding his words. He stated that he condemns the false allegations that are being made against him.
Balakrishna shared a post on his Facebook profile earlier today. He stated, "I severely condemn the false allegations that are put against me. A few people are misguiding others by wrongly portraying my statements. I have a huge respect towards sisters (nurses) who serve patients. I have their work personally in Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital. I cannot thank them enough for their efforts."
"Even during the COVID times, nurses across the world worked day and night for the well-being of other people. We should commend their efforts. If at all my statements hurt the nursing community, I apologize to them unconditionally," he further added.
It all started when Balayya made an alleged objectionable remark against nurses in the recent episode of his talk show Unstoppable. Pawan Kalyan was the chief guest for this episode. Balayya's particular statement went viral all over social media and eventually led to a protest by the Nursing community.
