HYDERABAD: In a departure from the current trend where movies hit OTT platforms within a month or so of their theatrical release, a particular film has taken an unconventional route.

This movie, kept in the shadows for almost five to six months without a proper release, has made its way to OTT without much fanfare. We are talking about Bellamkonda Sreenivas' Bollywood debut, titled 'Chatrapathi.'

Bellamkonda Sreenivas ventured into Hindi cinema with the remake of the Telugu film "Chhatrapati." Despite having only one notable hit in Telugu, he took the leap into the Hindi film industry with this remake. However, the film faced severe criticism and poor collections upon its release on May 12, with social media buzzing with negative reviews.

The movie, which initially struggled to find an audience in theaters, garnered considerable trolling on social media. Surprisingly, after months of silence, the film has quietly made its appearance on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
