Bhagavanth Kesari collections: Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer set to breach Rs 70 crore mark

HYDERABAD: Nandamuri Balakrishna acted in the latest film 'Bhagavanth Kesari,' directed by talented director Anil Ravipudi. The film was released as a Dussehra special on October 19, received positive feedback from the audience, and performed well at the box office. As of now, the film has completed its three-week theatrical run and is entering its fourth week.

According to trade circles estimates, the film has garnered a share of Rs. 68.68 crores in its first three weeks.

The area-wise collections are as follows: Nizam - Rs. 19.50 crores, Seeded - Rs. 12.77 crores, Uttarandhra - Rs. 6.28 crores, East - Rs. 3.56 crores, West - Rs. 2.92 crores, Guntur - Rs. 5.43 crores, Krishna - Rs. 2.65 crores, Nellore - Rs. 2.71 crores, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana - Rs. 55.82 crores, Other areas - Rs. 5.65 crores, and Overseas - Rs. 7.21 crores.

Having surpassed the break-even target of Rs. 61 crores, the film is currently operating in profit, with a reported profit of Rs. 7.68 crores up to this point. This success marks Balakrishna's hat-trick hit with 'Bhagavanth Kesari.' The success ceremony took place at the JRC convention hall in Hyderabad yesterday.

Tollywood's young sensation Sreeleela portrayed the character of Viji Papa, while Kajal Aggarwal starred opposite Balakrishna. National award winner Arjun Rampal played the antagonist.
