HYDERABAD: According to the reports in the film industry, the producers of 'Bhola Shankar' have had their application to increase ticket prices rejected by the Andhra Pradesh (AP) government. The highly anticipated mega mass-action entertainer film stars Megastar Chiranjeevi and features Tamannah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, and Sushanth in pivotal roles.

In anticipation of the film's release, the producers had applied to the AP government for permission to raise ticket prices. However, government sources have indicated that the application submitted by the producers was incomplete and lacked the necessary documents. As a result, their request for flexibility in ticket pricing has been rejected.

The government has reportedly told the 'Bhola Shankar' team that they must provide the required documents to support their application. While the rejection of the application raises doubts about a potential ticket price increase for the film, it's noted that this decision is unrelated to recent comments made by Chiranjeevi against the government.

It remains to be seen whether the producers of 'Bhola Shankar' will be able to provide the necessary documents and reapply for a potential ticket price increase in the future.

The movie, directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Ramabraham Sunkara, is set for release on August 11.
