Blockbusters rejected by 'Birthday Boy' Prabhas!
One can't help themselves but wonder what would have been today for Prabhas if he'd starred in at least one of the blockbusters he dropped
HYDERABAD: Although it is a big patience game for Prabhas fans, social media is full of their celebrations today as it marks the birthday of their favorite hero, the darling of many, and star of the Nation, 'Rebel Star' Prabhas. After a disaster like 'Radhe Shyam' and the tragic passing of Krishnam Raju, it this day everyone was waiting to celebrate.
Prabhas had quite a less number of blockbusters in his career, but all those blockbusters were record-breaking! Let it be 'Varsham', 'Chatrapathi' or even 'Mirchi', he made sure it hits the bull eye whenever it is possible. But there are quite a few projects which were dropped by Prabhas because of his contemplation.
It was actually Prabhas who was supposed to do 'Arya'. Sukumar being a debutant, Prabhas passed it on to Bunny. But 'Dil' Raju wouldn't let him loose from him. He, along with Bunny, took Boyapati Srinu to narrate 'Bhadra', but the same doubt on debutant made Prabhas pass it off too. Adamant 'Dil' Raju has brought another new director who wanted to make a revenge drama between estranged father-son, which instantly clicked with Prabhas, which ended up being 'Munna'.
One can't help themselves but wonder what would have been today for Prabhas if he'd starred in at least one of the blockbusters he dropped.
