Box-Office: Pawan Kalyan's BRO opens to a decent number on the release day in the Telugu states
Pawan Kalyan's impactful speech created a unique buzz around the movie. Nevertheless, "BRO" managed to have a respectable Day 1 collection
HYDERABAD: Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's "BRO" initially lacked this kind of hype and attention. But, post the pre-release event, Pawan Kalyan's impactful speech created a unique buzz around the movie. Nevertheless, "BRO" managed to have a respectable Day 1 collection.
According to trade reports, the film collected nearly ₹13.5+ crores share from the Andhra region and ₹8.2+ crores share from the Nizam region. Including collections from other regions like the USA and other territories, trade pundits estimate the total share to be around ₹26+ crores.
However, people close to the production house claim the film made ₹30 crores share, as there were no deductions for distributor share in some territories due to the film being released by People Media Factory.
Pawan Kalyan's swag, powerful dialogues, and political satires are resonating well with audiences in the Andhra region. On the other hand, nature's fury, such as rain and floods in Nizam districts like Warangal, has had a significant impact on collections.
Comparing "BRO" to Pawan Kalyan's previous films like "Bheemla Nayak" and "Vakeel Saab," collected ₹26+ crores and ₹32+ crores, respectively, in AP+TS on their first day.
