Brahmastra 2 to be bigger and better than the part one

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra was released on a grand scale last Friday. Though it has been receiving a mixed response from the audience, Brahmastra managed to generate good collections at the box office. Brahmastra earned Rs. 125 crore nett. in its first weekend.

Meanwhile, it is already known that part one is titled Shiva and there will be a part two as well, for this movie. Titled Dev, this part two will hit the floors soon. We get introduced to the characters named Dev and Amrita in the first part. Their backstory will be explored in the second part of the franchise.

It is heard that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will play the roles of Dev and Amrita respectively. Reportedly, Brahmastra 2 will be made on a higher budget than part one. There will be massive sets and more VFX works in the sequel. On the whole, it will be bigger than the first part in all aspects.

More details of Brahmastra 2 are expected to be announced in the coming days. Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukherjee. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy played key roles in this fantasy action drama.
