Brahmastra 2 to feature Deep-Veer: Reports

Bollywood's biggest release of the year, Brahmastra Part-1: Shiva, hit the theatres on September 9. Upon its release, the film has been receiving a mixed talk from the audience but is doing well at the box office. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt played the lead roles in this fantasy drama. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni played other key roles in it.

Towards the end of part one, we get the announcement of part 2, titled Dev. It will showcase the backstory of Shiva's father Dev and mother Amrita. We get glimpses of Dev and Amrita in the first part but the makers never revealed their faces.

According to the latest grapevine in Bollywood, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will play the roles of Dev and Amrita respectively. An official announcement regarding this news is awaited. Meanwhile, it is heard that part 2 will showcase the core conflict of the Brahmastra franchise and the transformation of Dev from being a hero to an anti-hero.

The shoot of Brhamastra part 2 is expected to hit the floors next year. More details about it will be announced soon.
