The boycott trend has been posing a serious threat to many Bollywood films in the last few months. Ahead of Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha's release, there was a call to boycott that film. Due to this trend, the film failed to get good openings. The same was the case with Vijay Deverakonda's Liger as well.

The Boycott gang's next target was Brahmastra. Ahead of its release, a section of people had widely trended #BoycottBrahmastra on social media.

Amid these challenges, Brahmastra has hit the screens. Irrespective of its mixed take, the film has been registering big numbers at the box office. It collected a total of Rs. 160 crores in the first two days. It is expected to earn around Rs. 250 crores by the end of its first weekend.

The response has been phenomenal in both South and North India. Looking at collections, it seems that people are not caring about Boycott calls.

During one of the promotional interviews, the movie's lead actor Ranbir Kapoor said if the content is good enough, no boycott call would stop a film's success. His statements are proving to be true in the case of Brahmastra.
