Bunny, Tarak & Charan obliges Dil Raju's proposal on Remuneration

The Telugu Film industry has been going through a lot recently with back-to-back disasters. While just two to three films in Tollywood score breakeven in recent times, the remaining all suffered at the box-office to just stand as average hits.

However, The Telugu Film Producers Guild has taken a lot of initiative to revive the theatrical market again. To achieve this, they are conducting timely meetings to discuss various aspects such as ticket prices, OTT release, remunerations of actors, and so on.

Recently, Telugu producers have also planned to withhold the shooting of films from August 1st, 2022, so that they can discuss the industry concerns until suitable solutions are found.

Sharing the same, The Active Telugu Film Producers' Guild released a press note yesterday, stating, "All members of the Guild have voluntarily decided to withhold shootings from August 1 and hold discussions until we find a workable solution."

Meanwhile, as per inside reports, it is said that Tollywood's popular producer Dil Raju has already spoken with Allu Arjun, NTR, and Ram Charan about the present state of the industry and its worrisome aspects. The positive thing about this meeting is that heroes have come forward to reduce their remunerations. Reportedly, Megastar Chiranjeevi has already written a letter to the producer guild about the shooting crisis.

With these many situations happening in the film industry, we have to wait and see whether Tollywood will overcome the global pandemic-induced losses.
