As per the reports in the Tollywood film circles, director Harish Shankar picked popular actor-director Parthiban to play the film's antagonist.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is the remake of the Tamil hit "Theri." Known for his versatility as an actor and director, Parthiban has appeared in a few Telugu films, including "Racha," where he portrayed Ram Charan's father in a flashback sequence. His addition to the cast of UBS adds excitement to the project.
Director Harish Shankar, who has a knack for understanding the pulse of mass audiences, is set to showcase Pawan Kalyan in an intense and never-before-seen mass character, playing a tough cop. He felt that Parthiban would be the right choice for the villain's role in the movie.
The film also features Sreeleela as the female lead, along with a supporting cast that includes Narra Sreenu, Chammak Chandra, Giri, Temper Vamsi, Nawab Shah, Ashutosh Rana, Gouthami, Naga Mahesh, and more. Ayanka Bose serves as the director of photography, DSP is composing the music, and Chota K Prasad is editing the film. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the project.
