Can one song save Sudeep's Vikrant Rona

Every actor has caught up with the fever of pan-India stardom. Thus, we see various heroes coming up with pan-India films these days. Popular Kannada actor Sudeep also joined this list with his latest outing, Vikrant Rona. This pan-India biggie is gearing up for a release on July 28 (today).

However, there is no buzz around this film. Sudeep has worked in various languages like Kannada, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. He is a noted actor across the country but does not have pan-India stardom. His film Vikrant Rona failed to create buzz among the audience.

The song Ra Ra Rakkamma became a chartbuster but it is not enough to pull the crowd to the theatres. The trailer and other promos failed to create anticipation around the film. As a result, the bookings are dull across the country.

Especially in the Telugu states, it is a huge task for Vikrant Rona to do well because there is low buzz and also it is clashing with Ravi Teja's Ramarao on Duty (releasing tomorrow). We have to see if Vikrant Rona crosses these hurdles and emerges as a winner at the box office.
