Following the grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7, where Pallavi Prashanth emerged as the winner, unexpected incidents unfolded, leading to multiple cases being filed against him. The aftermath included destroying cars belonging to other Bigg Boss contestants like Amardeep and Ashwini Sree, fights between supporters of Amardeep and Prashant, and damage to a few RTC buses.
Jubilee Hills Police have initiated legal proceedings against Pallavi Prashanth under sections 147, 148, 290, 353, 426, and 149 for willful private and public property destruction. Similar cases have been filed against Prashanth's followers involved in the incidents.
After being declared the winner, Pallavi Prashanth was initially sent home by the police but later returned to Annapurna Studios with his supporters, triggering clashes between his followers and those of Amardeep.
As the police officials investigate the case, the reports emerged this morning that Prashanth is absconding. Several media houses reported that Prashanth's mobile phone is switched off and out of reach. It resulted in more criticism of him on social media.
On the other hand, Prashanth's lawyer held a press meet at Gajwel press club along with his parents.
“There is a lack of friendly policing in the state. Despite a registered case, the accused is not provided with a copy of the FIR. Pallavi Prashanth is currently evading authorities. When we approached Jubilee Hills Inspector for the FIR copy, he recommends family members to collect the FIR copy. The police must make the FIR copy public. Due to the absence of the FIR copy, we are unable to apply for bail.” he said.
Meanwhile, addressing these speculations, Prashanth shared a video from his house, stating that he did not run away.
"I am very much available to everyone at my home," said Prashanth, who also asked his supporters to confirm. Several individuals, claiming to be his supporters, were also present at his home, and stated that Prashanth did not go anywhere.
Additionally, Prashanth mentioned that some individuals are intentionally targeting him and spreading negativity against him. He also apologized for the inconvenience caused by him. The video is currently trending viral on social media.
