Director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirms his lineup for next ten years

HYDERABAD: Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the top directors in South India. By scoring consecutive hits with Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master and Lokesh, he became a star filmmaker in no time. He also expanded his cinematic universe by connecting Vikram and Kaithi.

Recently, Lokesh Kanagaraj took part in an interview with the Film Companion. He spoke about his future plans in this interview. He said, "Currently, I am working with Thalapathy Vijay. The shooting of this movie will begin soon. After that, I will start Kaithi 2. Later, I will work on Vikram 2. Then, I will make a movie based on the character of Rolex (Suriya in Vikram)."

"I am settled for the next 10 years with Rolex, Vikram 2 and Kaithi 2. I can make any sequel or prequel in this cinematic universe based on the circumstances. The order of these films may change according to the situation," he further added.

Not only Tamil film lovers but the entire of South India is eagerly looking forward to Lokesh Cinematic Universe. As of now, the director is busy with the pre-production works of Vijay's film. The film is expected to hit the screens by the end of 2023 or early 2024. Anirudh is composing the future for it.
