Fahadh Faasil teams up with Lucia director

Highly talented actor Fahadh Faasil is all set to make his Kannada debut. He has teamed up with Pawan Kumar of Lucia and U-Turn fame for a new film titled Dhoomam. This project was announced earlier this morning. Hombale Films of KGF fame will be bankrolling the movie. Dhoomam will get kickstarted on October 9.

This morning, Hombale Films shared the title poster of Dhoomam. Sharing the poster, the production house tweeted, "𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐨𝐰, 𝐬𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐩. Presenting #Dhoomam. Kickstarting from Oct 9, 2022, End Game begins in Summer 2023."

Pawan Kumar was supposed to do a film called Dvitva with Hombale Films. Puneeth Rajkumar was supposed to be the lead hero in it. But after the unfortunate death of Puneeth, the film was shelved. Now, Hombale and Pawan teamed up for Dhoomam.

This film will have a multi-lingual release in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu. Aparna Balamurali plays the female lead in it. Roshan Mathew will be seen in an important role. Preetha Jayaraman will be handling the cinematography, and Poornachandra Tejaswi will be composing the music for it. Dhomman will hit the screens in summer 2023.
