Fahadh's new Telugu film lands in title trouble

Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil made his Telugu debut with Pushpa: The Rise last year. He will also be seen in its sequel, Pushpa: The Rule. Meanwhile, his second Telugu film was announced recently.

Titled Top Gear, this movie will be directed by Sudheesh Sankar and produced by Super Good Films. The regular shooting started on September 10. The first look poster was released the other day. It also happens to be the 96th project of Super Good Films.

Meanwhile, noted Telugu producer KV Sridhar Reddy alleged that Top Gear is his film's title and Super Good Films cannot use it. Sridhar Reddy's Top Gear features Aadi Saikumar as the lead hero. Shashikanth is directing the project. Sridhar Reddy stated that the film's shoot is done and the post-production works are going on. He further added that they are planning to release it in November.

Sridhar Reddy stated that it is not right to use the same title as he holds the rights. He hoped that Super Good Films changes the title and resolves the issue amicably. Meanwhile, Super Good Films is yet to respond to Sridhar's statements.
