First look of Dushyant from Shakuntalam

Samantha is playing the titular role in the upcoming Telugu film titled Shakuntalam. Gunasekhar is the film's director. The movie's shoot is wrapped up already, and the post-production works are currently in progress. The makers are working on bringing the film for a grand release this year itself. Meanwhile, the film unit released the first look of the film's lead Dev Mohan on Twitter.

On the occasion of Dev Mohan's birthday today, the makers released the first look along with the poster. Gunaa Team Works shared the poster and wrote, "Wishing our ever-charming, valiant and handsome King #Dushyant, @ActorDevMohan a very Happy Birthday!"

In the poster, Dev Mohan is seen sporting royal attire. He is seen posing on a horse. Based on a popular play Shakuntala by Kalidasa, Gunasekhar penned a version of his own to depict the love story of Shakunthala and Dushyanta.

Shakuntalam is being produced by Gunasekhar's daughter Neelima Guna. Dil Raju is presenting the project. Mani Sharma is composing the music for it. The makers will soon announce the film's release date.
