Nagarjuna, The man needs no introduction to the Telugu audiences. He is a versatile actor who can pull off any kind of role. In his vast career, Nagarjuna came up with films of various genres. No other hero of his generation experimented with such a variety of genres as Nag.

Even in his 60s, Nag looks like a 30-year-old hunk. Fans fondly call him King and Manmadhudu.

He celebrates his 63rd birthday today.

Nagarjuna made his entry into films as the son of legendary Akkineni Nageshwara Rao. Initially, he had to struggle a lot. It was his 15th film Geetanjali and 17th film Shiva that gave him a breakthrough in the industry. Both films were released in 1989. Especially, Shiva is considered a masterpiece and a cult classic in the history of Telugu cinema.

When no other hero was giving a chance to the new director Ram Gopal Varma, Nag decided to work with him. The rest is history. After that, Nag regularly worked with new directors. In his career, Nagarjuna gave chance to at least 12 new directors.

No other hero of his generation dared to do it. Even his recent films like Soggade Chinni Nayana (Kalyana Krishna) and Wild Dog (Ahishor Solomon) were directed by new directors. Indeed, he is the King of finding new talents.

Nagarjuna will be soon seen in the film The Ghost. Directed by Praveen Sattaru, this movie is slated for worldwide release on October 5, 2022.
